Step 1
Take a large bowl, combine gram flour, corn flour, coriander powder and red chilli powder along with salt. Mix the ingredients well and pour water slowly, whisk the mixture to form a smooth batter.
Step 2
Thinly slice onion and potato in a bowl. Chop green chillies and coriander leaves separately. Once done, add green chillies, potato, onion and coriander leaves to the batter. Mix till all the ingredients are well coated with batter.
Step 3
Take a deep pan, add oil in it and heat it over medium flame. Carefully drop a spoonful of mixture in pan and deep fry. Fry the pakodas in small batches and flip them occasionally to cook through.
Step 4
Deep fry till both sides are golden brown in colour. Once done, place them on an absorbent paper towel to soak the extra oil. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
